Catechism Inauguration – September 7, 2025

On Sunday, September 7, 2025, our parish community gathered with great joy to mark the Inauguration of the Catechism Year. This significant occasion signaled the beginning of a new season dedicated to faith formation, spiritual enrichment, and the continued growth of our children and families.

Program Highlights

The evening’s observances were structured to emphasize prayer, tradition, and communal dedication:

  • 4:45 PM | Inauguration Ceremony: The program commenced with a formal ceremony where students, parents, and catechists gathered to dedicate the upcoming academic year to Christ. It was a moment of profound commitment to the mission of Catholic education.

  • 5:30 PM | The Holy Rosary: The community united in prayer, seeking the intercession and guidance of our Blessed Mother for the year ahead.

  • 6:00 PM | Holy Qurbana & Traditional Observances: The evening culminated in a solemn and grace-filled celebration of the Holy Qurbana. The liturgy was further enriched by the Ladinj, a vibrant Procession, and the distribution of Nercha, fostering a deep sense of fellowship and thanksgiving.

Our Shared Mission

This day served as a beautiful reminder of our collective responsibility to nurture the seeds of faith in the hearts of our young parishioners. As we embark on this new year, we remain committed to walking together as one family in Christ, rooted in His teachings and guided by His love.

"Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it." — Proverbs 22:6
