May 1, 2026 – SMYM Adoration Ignite 

 

On Friday, May 1st, 2026, our parish youth ministry, SMYM, prayerfully organized Adoration Ignite, a sacred evening centered on worship, prayer, and fellowship. The evening included Eucharistic Adoration, the Divine Mercy Chaplet, intercessory prayers, and a special blessing by Fr. Jerlin. A meaningful talk was also delivered by Elroy, an SMYM member, inspiring everyone to deepen their faith and relationship with Christ. The gathering was filled with music, prayer, and the radiant spirit of unity, bringing parishioners together in a beautiful atmosphere of devotion and grace. 🙏✨ 

 

 Mother’s Day & Nurses Day Celebration – May 10, 2026 


On Sunday, May 10th, 2026, our parish joyfully celebrated Mother’s Day and Nurses Day together in gratitude and appreciation for all mothers and nurses in our community. The evening began with Catechism at 5:00 p.m., followed by the Rosary at 5:30 p.m., and the Holy Qurbana at 6:00 p.m. Special prayers and acknowledgements were offered to honor the loving service, care, and sacrifices of mothers and nurses. A General Body Meeting was also held following the celebration. We extend our heartfelt wishes and prayers to all mothers and nurses, thanking them for their dedication and compassion. 🌸🙏 

 

Parish Feast 2026 – May 15, 16 & 17, 2026

From May 15th to May 17th, 2026, our parish joyfully celebrated the Parish Feast under the loving patronage and intercession of our patron saint, St. John Paul II. Through his prayers, may our Lord continue to bless our parish and every family in our community. The three-day celebration was filled with prayer, Holy Qurbana, fellowship, and spiritual joy. 🎊🙏 

 

May 15, 2026 – Feast Flag Hoisting 

 

The Feast celebrations began with Thirunal Kodiyeettam (Feast Flag Hoisting), followed by the Rosary and Holy Qurbana. Parishioners gathered together in faith and devotion as the feast festivities officially commenced, seeking the blessings and intercession of St. John Paul II for the parish and all families. 🙏🎉 

 

May 16, 2026 – Solemn Holy Communion Celebration 

 

On Friday, May 16th, 2026, our parish celebrated the Solemn Holy Communion of our parish children. The evening began with the Rosary at 5:00 p.m., followed by the Solemn Holy Communion celebration, Presudenthi Vazhcha, Solemn Holy Qurbana, and Snehavirunnu (feast meal). It was a grace-filled and memorable occasion for the children and their families as they received the Holy Eucharist. 

 

The children who received Holy Communion were:

May 17, 2026 – Feast Day Celebration 

 The Parish Feast concluded on Sunday, May 17th, 2026, with the solemn Thirunal Qurbana, Ladinja, and Holy Qurbana celebration. The parish community came together in thanksgiving and joy, celebrating our faith and unity as one family in Christ through the intercession of St. John Paul II. 🎊🙏

With hearts full of gratitude and joy, we sincerely thank everyone who made Parish Feast 2026 a truly memorable and blessed celebration. 💐🙏

* The Presudenthis for their constant support and commitment to the parish. 

* The Food Committee and Reception Committee for their excellent coordination and service. 

* Our Sacristians, Majesh Chettan and James Chettan, for their sincere dedication. 

* The Choir for the beautiful and prayerful singing that enriched the celebrations. 

* Everyone who helped with the arrangements and behind-the-scenes preparations. 

* All those who worked in the kitchen and served with love and care. 

* Those who presented the singing performance and the SMYM members for their wonderful dance performance. 

* Everyone who helped maintain and clean the church premises throughout the feast. 

* And finally, every parishioner, family member, friend, and guest who participated and made this feast a joyful celebration of faith, unity, and fellowship.

New Parish Council Oath Taking – May 24, 2026 

 

On Sunday, May 24th, 2026, our parish conducted the Oath Taking Ceremony for the newly appointed Parish Council members. The new council members prayerfully took their oath before the parish community, committing themselves to serve the Church with dedication, humility, and faith. During the ceremony, Mr. Nithin Jose Paul and Mr. Alex Arakkal were also nominated as the new trustees of the parish. We congratulate all the newly appointed members and pray that God guides them in their service to the parish community. 🙏✨
