Holy Week Schedule – 2026 The parish announced the Holy Week schedule for 2026, inviting all faithful to participate in these sacred celebrations: 

  • March 29 – Palm Sunday: Blessing of palm leaves, procession, and Holy Qurbana 

  • April 2 – Maundy Thursday (7:00 p.m.): Holy Qurbana, Washing of the Feet, and Vespera 

  • April 3 – Good Friday (9:00 a.m.): Passion reading, veneration of the Cross (held outside the church), Holy Communion, and Nairchakkam 

  • April 4 – Holy Saturday: Blessing of water and candles 

  • April 4 – Easter Vigil (9:00 p.m.): Holy Qurbana 

  • April 5 – Easter Sunday: Solemn Holy Qurbana 

These celebrations offer a profound opportunity for the parish community to journey through Christ’s Passion, death, and resurrection in unity and faith. ✝️✨ 


Palm Sunday – March 29, 2026 

 

On Sunday, March 29th, 2026, our parish prayerfully celebrated Palm Sunday, marking the beginning of Holy Week. The celebration began with the blessing of palm leaves, followed by a solemn procession and Holy Qurbana. Parishioners gathered together in faith and devotion, remembering Jesus Christ’s triumphant entry into Jerusalem. The celebration invited the faithful to begin Holy Week with prayerful hearts, preparing spiritually for the Passion, death, and resurrection of our Lord. 🌿✝️

Maundy Thursday – April 2, 2026 

 

On Thursday, April 2nd, 2026, at 7:00 p.m., the parish reverently observed Maundy Thursday, commemorating the institution of the Holy Eucharist and the priesthood during the Last Supper. The evening included Holy Qurbana, the Washing of the Feet ceremony, and Vespera. Through these sacred celebrations, the faithful reflected on Christ’s humility, love, and service to humanity. The solemn liturgy offered the parish community a meaningful opportunity to deepen their faith and enter into the spirit of Holy Week. 🙏✝️

On Friday, April 3rd, 2026, beginning at 9:00 a.m., the parish solemnly commemorated Good Friday, reflecting on the Passion and crucifixion of Jesus Christ. The observance included the Passion reading, veneration of the Holy Cross held outside the church, Holy Communion, and Nairchakkam. Parishioners gathered in prayer and silence to meditate upon Christ’s sacrifice and unconditional love for humanity. The sacred services inspired the faithful to journey spiritually with Christ through His suffering and death on the Cross.


Holy Saturday – April 4, 2026 

 

On Holy Saturday, April 4th, 2026, the parish gathered in prayerful anticipation of Christ’s resurrection. The service included the blessing of water and candles, symbolizing renewal, hope, and the victory of light over darkness. The faithful reflected in silence and devotion as the Church prepared to celebrate the joy of Easter. 🕯️🙏

Easter Vigil – April 4, 2026 

 

On Saturday, April 4th, 2026, at 9:00 p.m., the parish joyfully celebrated the Easter Vigil with Holy Qurbana. The solemn vigil marked the glorious resurrection of Jesus Christ and the triumph of life over death. Filled with prayer, light, and celebration, the Easter Vigil brought the parish community together in thanksgiving and renewed faith. ✨✝️ 

 

Easter Sunday – April 5, 2026 

 

On Sunday, April 5th, 2026, our parish celebrated the joyous feast of Easter with Solemn Holy Qurbana. Parishioners gathered together to rejoice in the resurrection of Jesus Christ, the foundation of our Christian faith and hope. The Easter celebration was filled with gratitude, joy, and renewed spiritual strength as the faithful proclaimed the victory of Christ over sin and death. Alleluia! ✝️🌸 



International Women's Day


On March 8th, 2026, our parish community came together to celebrate International Women's Day. It was a beautiful occasion to honor the incredible women who bring so much faith, love, and dedication to our church family.

As a small gesture of our deep appreciation and respect, every woman in the parish was recognized and presented with a small gift.
