Newsletter July 2024

On July 3rd, we commemorated the Dhukrana feast, a significant day for Syro-

Malabar Christians, with a solemn mass that held deep meaning for our

community. Additionally, we joyfully celebrated Father Jerlin's feast day by cutting

a cake and sharing it with parishioners. The trustees Mr. Shammy and Mr.

James, as an expression of their affection and gratitude, arranged a special

dinner for Father Jerlin.

On July 7th, we celebrated the Dhukrana feast with great pomp started with a

solemn mass and ended with a grand procession. The day concluded beautifully

with a generous offering (nercha) organized by the Mathruvedi teams, adding a

heartfelt touch to our commemoration of this special occasion in the Syro-

Malabar Christian calendar.

On July 13th, we marked our Catechism Annual Day with grandeur, commencing

with a solemn Holy Mass. Following the Mass, our Catechism children

showcased their talents through a diverse array of cultural programs, all under

the Presidentship of Father Jerlin, the Trustees Mr. Shammy, Mr. James, and the

Catechism Principal Mrs. Dhanya James. During this event, we also paid tribute

to our dedicated Catechism Principal Mrs. Dhanya James. We recognized and

honored the top scorers and students with full attendance for the Catechism year

of 2023-2024. The evening concluded on a delightful note with a delicious dinner

graciously arranged by our parishioners, making the occasion truly memorable for

everyone involved.
