Catechism Department Updates
Catechism Department celebrated catechetical Sunday on 3rd November 2024. The milestone certificate awarded by the Eparchy was distributed to all the catechists who accomplished 5 yrs and above as catechism teachers and to our Ex-Principal Mrs. Dhanya James.
As a token of appreciation and dedication every catechist from our parish was presented with recognition certificate issued by our parish.
Special Holy Qurbana was celebrated where the Offertory was done by the catechism teachers.
Catechism classes are going well and as scheduled in our parish and all children are actively involved in the classes
Mathruvedi Updates
Mathruvedi members and their families actively participated in the holyween celebration and saints’ day parade as decided by the Eparchy.October, the rosary month was ended with solemn mass and rosary.
Fundraising Event
As a fundraising event, mathruvedi committee has decided to conduct a cake sale during the festival season.
Nurses Ministry Updates:
In November, Regina nurse’s ministry prayer tool is the apostolic creed. All the members took slots until 30th. we celebrate our Bishop Mar Jose kalluvelil birthday on November 14th. Canada nurse’s ministry offer spiritual bouquet to Bishop. every region took part of it. Regina nurse’s ministry also offer spiritual bouquet to our bishop. Canada nurse’s ministry is planning to do 24 hrs chain rosary on November 27 from 10 am to 28th 10 am, Regina took slot on 27th at 5-6 pm
Knight of Columbus Updates
Sam Thomas, a member of the St. John Paul II Council of the Knights of Columbus, won the first prize of $10,000 in a draw organized by the Saskatchewan State Knights of Columbus. WST Agnel George presented the cheque to Sam Thomas in the presence of Parish Priest Jerlin Francis, Grand Knight Bestin Kurian, and Past Grand Knight Joy George.
